Brotherhood Weekend
A special Brotherhood enrichment and ceremony is held occasionally. It is an early opportunity for Ordeal members who completed their ordeal the prior year (and all other Ordeal members) to seal their Brotherhood in the OA. Brotherhood and Vigil members are encouraged to attend for fellowship and to help out, as well as to honor our new Brotherhood members. Those who complete Brotherhood conversion will be able to purchase a Brotherhood sash.
Ordeal
Ordeal is an opportunity during the year for newly elected candidates to complete their induction into the Order of the Arrow. It is also a great opportunity for Ordeal Members to seal their membership by completing their Brotherhood. There are always numerous projects and activities to give even the most active Arrowman something to do. In addition to the induction and service aspects of the Ordeal, both members and new members will enjoy great food, fun, and fellowship.

Vigil Weekend
This is the weekend when all candidates for the Vigil Honor complete their Vigil. It may be held in conjunction with another event, such as Fall Fellowship.
Section Conclave
This Spring weekend event is attended by all lodges from the SR-3 Section. The location varies, as does the service (host) lodge. It includes competitions in Indian events, training classes, patch trading, shows, special events, and, for your dining pleasure, excellent food throughout the weekend. Each lodge will have the opportunity to demonstrate what makes it unique, and to gain experience from each other.
PhilBreak
Opportunity at Philmont Scout Ranch to join other Scouts and give meaningful service, form lasting friendships, and develop leadership skills in the beautiful mountains of Philmont Scout Ranch. Under the direction of experienced Philmont staff members, take part in a week-long service-based program. The work will be strenuous but fun. You will be expected to work eight or nine hour days in all types of conditions. It will be imperative that you work with great diligence, as the time to make a positive impact on Philmont is limited. This seven day program provides a chance to not only give service to the Ranch, but to build friendships across the country. It will challenge you mentally, physically and spiritually.
Philmont staff members with strong Order of the Arrow backgrounds will lead participants on a two week trail crew and trek. The program is a fourteen-day experience. The first week focuses on trail construction and maintenance under the guidance of Philmont trail crew foremen. The second week is a seven-day backpacking trek that is designed by the participants. The program is not simply building trails and hiking; the OA Trail Crew is ultimately a journey that challenges Scouts mentally, physically and spiritually.
National Order of the Arrow Wilderness Voyage (Northern Tier)
An opportunity to join Arrowmen from across the country in cheerful service and the formation of lasting brotherhood on the pristine US/Canadian Boundary Waters. Under the direction of the United States Forest Service, experienced Charles L. Sommers staff members with strong Order of the Arrow backgrounds will lead participants on a two week voyage into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW). Arrowmen will embark on a voyage that is twofold. One-half of the OA Northern Tier Wilderness Voyage focuses on portage trail and campsite maintenance within the Boundary Waters. The remaining expedition is spent on a canoeing adventure that is planned and chosen by the participants in the program. In other words, each crew plans their own voyage! However, the program is not simply portage trail work, camping, and canoeing. The OA Northern Tier Wilderness Voyage is ultimately a journey that challenges Scouts mentally, physically and spiritually.
National Order of the Arrow Ocean Adventure
An opportunity to cheerfully serve the greatest ecosystem on our planet; the ocean. Under the direction of the National Marine Sanctuary and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), experienced Florida Sea Base staff with strong Order of the Arrow backgrounds will lead participants on a two week scuba diving adventure in the beautiful waters of the Florida Keys. The program is a 13 day experience in which participants will have the opportunity to explore and serve the undersea world. One-half of the Ocean Adventure program will be PADI SCUBA training and certification, which will be held at the Florida Sea Base. The remaining portion of the program will focus on rendering cheerful service to the ocean marine life and coral reefs of the Florida Keys.
National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC)
Every two years, Arrowmen from across the country gather on the campus of a major university for the National Order of the Arrow Conference (NOAC). These gatherings draw nearly 7000 Arrowmen, traveling from as far away as Europe and Asia, for five days of training, fun, and fellowship. With each conference, NOAC becomes more diversified, more fun, and more exciting.
NOAC has many different aspects and it is impossible to participate in every event in one year. Each year events are added and changed so you could go to NOAC every time and do new things each time. The main activities at NOAC include training, ceremonies evaluation, American Indian events, awesome shows, competitions, and Founder's Day. NOAC has something for everyone of all backgrounds and all ages. It is definitely one of Scouting's most unique and entertaining events.
ArrowCorps5
The OA has had a long-standing interest in coordinating a national service project, using the infrastructure and leadership established over many years of success at the BSA's high adventure bases. Working closely together, the United States Forest Service and the OA have chosen five project sites, spread across America, that will be the focus of our combined efforts. ArrowCorps5 (pronounced Arrow Corps Five) will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for each participant to set an example of leadership in service to those who treasure our national forests. Five thousand physically fit and able volunteers (determined by the "Philmont Weight Limits for Backpacking & Hiking"), made up of youth and adults, will participate. The National Order of the Arrow committee and key sponsors will fund the projects. Participants will pay a reasonable fee to help pay for accommodations, meals and a full day of recreational activities during the projects.
