The annual Lodge Leadership Development Conference was held January 21, 2012, at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. This training conference for newly elected officers and advisers covered such topics as chapter management, OA Journey to Excellence, ceremonies, OA high adventure, effective use of technology, camp promotions, Lodge Master and DoubleKnot for advisers, etc. We also had several special guest speakers, including Oren Lee Peters, a 74-year Scouter, and Brandon Azoulai, Section NE-7B chief. As always, the training sessions and presentations provided a solid foundation for the next year of lodge and chapter operations.
