Over 160 MaNu Arrowmen enjoyed a great weekend at the Fall Fellowship held October 24-26 at Slippery Falls Scout Ranch. Participants traded patches; made Indian chokers; shot blackpowder, .22 rifle, shotgun and archery; learned and practiced ceremonies and Indian dances; trained as Elangomats; learned about making regalia; competed in an adventure race; studied the unit elections process; threw tomahawks; ran for the arrow around Lake Payne and polished their LNT skills. As if that wasn't enough, we ate outstanding food the entire weekend, including scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, a sandwich bar, homemade soup, a salad bar, roast beef (started on Friday night and cooked until it fell apart), mashed potatoes and gravy, breakfast casserole and a Saturday evening crackerbarrel of ice cream. No one wanted for delicious food! In addition, some of our brothers sealed their Brotherhood, and later that evening the Vigil call-out ceremony was held. On Sunday morning an LEC was held and the 2009 lodge officers were elected. Everyone had a great time!
