From June 7-14, 2008, over 1000 Arrowmen from around the country participated in ArrowCorps5 at the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri. Working in the Glade Top Trail area south of Ava, Missouri, they removed invasive cedar trees from glade areas in the forest. Removal of these cedars helped restore the forest's natural communities. They also completed work towards the Forestry and Wilderness Survival Merit Badges. Each participant contributed 40 to 50 service hours, which were credited towards individual advancement requirements. The participating lodges also were credited National Service Hours.
